In May 2024, a training was conducted for 30 university lecturers (10 representatives from each Ukrainian partner university) at the Katholische Universität Eichstätt-Ingolstadt.

The training consisted of five core modules. Considering that some participants had no prior experience with service-learning, part of the content served as an introduction to the topic. However, all materials were subject to ongoing reflection and discussion: “Does this work during wartime? How does it change? What is the experience of Ukrainian educators?”Навчання складалось з 5 основних тренінгів.

Based on this training, a toolkit was developed — a collection of tools used during the course, workshop descriptions, assignments, and supplementary materials. One of the key outcomes of Work Package 2 (WP2) was the creation of practical materials aimed at supporting Ukrainian education during wartime and in the post-war recovery process.

The training curriculum, available in both English and Ukrainian, includes all necessary reflective tasks, such as course objectives, brief topic descriptions, academic policy regarding the program, recommendations, expected learning outcomes, course outline, academic calendar, program hours, and ECTS credits.
